Yes, we can even host your site if we did not design it. Please contact us and we assist you with the transfer of your domain name along with all of your existing website content.

Can I choose you to design my site and use my own web hosting?

Yes it is perfectly acceptable for you to choose us for your design company and host your site to a company of your choice.

Am I tied intoOnalaska Web for any site maintenance or updates I wish to do once my website is designed?

No once your website is designed it belongs to you and you can commission anyone to update it for you - although of course we would like to think that you are happy with our services and will continue to use us for your website maintenance.

Will everyone see my web site the same?

Your website visitors will see some things differently depending on their browser, screen resolution setting and their individual computer settings and toolbars.

I already have a website and I need it updating, can you help me?

Yes, we would be happy to look at you existing website for you.

What if I do not like the design?

If you do not like the design which we have suggested for you, we will discuss your needs with you to produce a final website that you are happy with. We would not like to think that you are not happy with the final website design. Our aim is to design for you a website specific to your requirements which you are completely happy with.

What does a website cost?

That's probably the most common question we get. And it's the toughest one to answer without a lot more information. What if we asked you "how much does a house cost to build?" You couldn't answer it (with any degree of accuracy) without a lot more information. How many rooms will the house have? What kind of flooring will the house have? Websites are like that too. Web design is not the type of thing for which we can just post an a la carte type of price list. What we can tell you without any details about your project is that our projects typically range from $500 to $5000.

How does Onalaska Web charge?

We typically quote a set price for a set scope of work. That way there are no surprise charges. Some more open-ended types of engagements and updates to your site after it is live may be billed hourly.
